The overall objective of DRIInC’s research is to improve yield and quality of milk from small holder dairy processors using a holistic approach and add value to locally produced milk to create innovative and safe foods for consumption. In line with this, DRIInC has three key research area foci:
- Dairy research into animal feed, forage, nutrition and health for improved yield and milk quality.
- Safe handling and processing of innovative dairy foods for human
- Value addition of dairy by-products for improved crop utilization
How we do research
